'Melissa' Lavender

This year was our first year of harvesting this beautiful silvery lavender. This variety is called 'Melissa' and is a perennial herb that grows to about 2 feet and can be used for culinary or decorative purposes.

Below is a picture of us drying this gorgeous lavender in our cottage. I think it looks just heavenly.

We use this variety of lavender in our neck rolls & comfort hearts because of it's strong and calming natural aroma.
