We spent Friday afternoon removing the buds from the lavender and then sifting them to remove any unwanted leaves and stems. It was a tedious process but we sure smelt good when it was done.
After many life experiences including living in France and traveling the world, we have settled down in beautiful Cache Valley Utah. We live on a 6 acre farm nestled at the mouth of a mountain canyon. We have over 80 apple trees in our orchard, many of which are vintage varieties. We also have over 1000 Lavender plants, across 2 fields. Hence our farm name "The Lavender Apple." We hand craft over 40 natural and organic products. This weekend we had a booth once again at the Cache Valley Farmers/Gardeners Market.
